Genos2 Firmware update V1.02

(1/3) > >>

Teknoss:
[V1.01 to V1.02]

Fixed a problem in which the Kbd Harmony/Arpeggio Type could not be read correctly when loading a Registration Memory Bank file of the Genos.
User Style can now be selected when editing the "Style" message in the Chord part on the display, called up by [MIDI Multi Recording] -> [Step Edit].
You can now assign "Dynamics Control" to pedals on the Assignable display.
Fixed a problem which the MIDI port name and number of MIDI ports may be incorrect when connected to a computer.

I see now that you can step edit chords for user styles now.
Great for laying a chord track out with fills without glitches when making a recording

Version history says :

--- Quote ---User Style can now be selected when editing the "Style" message in the Chord part on the display, called up by [MIDI Multi Recording] -> [Step Edit].

--- End quote ---
Does this means that in Step Edit you can now select user style ?
Please can this be confirmed by a Genos 2 owner ?

Seems to me like a necessary update that could not be delayed, as they have created a program to create our own styles.
Would be a nice update too for the Genos 1.

Etienne

@Etienne
hmmm..  we can edit user styles in Step Edit since ever (unless they're locked) -what we can't edit, are preset styles (because they're locked).
Or did I misunderstood something?

Bogdan

Bogdan,

It's about MIDI MULTI RECORDING - Step Edit
In Step Edit it was NOT possible to select a User Style.
Only preset styles where available for selection>.
