Hi Mike,

You probably have the "ART Phantom I" (48V Phantom Power Supply):

Yes, to connect the ART's Mic Output (XLR) to the SX900's Mic/Guitar Input (TS) you use an (as short as possible!) unbalanced "XLR female to 6.3mm TS" cable, which is wired as follows. Also see the attached picture.

XLR pin 1 (ground/shield) & XLR pin 3 (signal -) bridged   <>   TS Sleeve
XLR pin 2 (signal +)   <>   TS Tip

By the way, the SX900's MIC/GUITAR switch should be set to MIC.

Best regards,
Chris

➪ Everyone kept saying "That won't work!" - Then someone came along who didn't know that and just did it.
➪ Never put the manual too far away: There's more in it than you think! ;-)

Thanks, Chris! That is exactly what I purchased. Just wanted to be sure because
my youngest granddaughter, Haley, will be with me in a couple of weeks, to record
my song BAD BOY! We will use an Audio Technica 2035.
Best regards,
Mike
