Pad start/stop question
« on: December 19, 2022, 08:13:02 AM »
On SX700 I would like to start pad (e.g. Nr. 1) simultaneously with changing to variation 2 and stop that pad when changing to another variation. Is that possible with just variation button/change (without using too many hands at once). Is there some secret setting for this?

Is there really no other option than using multiple registration memories?

Using the Pad Stopper pad is the ONLY way to accomplish what you want to do. Read (and download) my article on Multi Pads. You can find the link in my profile at the bottom this post.

Registrations are the centerpiece of the arranger keyboard.  It's where we can arrange our music.  It's a very powerful feature but requires some work to make good arrangements.

Certainly. The other option is to control the pads yourself. Stop the first, then start the second.
