Hi all, I created a song on my laptop and transferred it to a memory stick as a MP3.
When I inert the stick in th T5, there's nothing showing. Any ideas?
Thanks, Norm.
Hi Norm,
the Tyros5 Audio Player accepts the following Audio formats for Playback:
.wav (WAV format: 44.1 kHz sample rate, 16 bit resolution, stereo) (as already mentioned by Fred before)
.mp3 (MPEG-1 Audio Layer-3: 44.1/48.0 kHz sample rate, 64–320 kbps and variable bit rate, mono/stereo)If you are not sure, check the exact format of the MP3.
By the way: With Tyros5, file names can have a maximum of
41 characters (plus 4 characters for the file extension, e.g. ".mp3").
If this length is exceeded, the file is not displayed on the keyboard. Between the file name and the extension, additionally 5 characters for an "Icon ID" (e.g. ".S922") can be used. So, the maximum length is 50 characters (file name (41) + Icon Id (5)+ extension (4).
And to make it complete: FOLDER names can also have a maximum of 50 Characters.
Hope this helps!
Best regards,
Chris
