Attempting to record some videos to post to Youtube.
When I play live, I go directly to my QSC K12's and have no distortion with my vocals at any volume.
When recording video, I go from my MAIN outputs, on Genos, directly into my camera.
The Camera is a Canon VIXIA HF R300 and has a 3.5mm input jack for a microphone.
If I try and sing close to the microphone, or turn up the microphone volume on the Genos, I get distortion.
The sounds from the Genos, I can play louder then my voice, but will eventually distort also.
Can the answer be in my compressor settings or equalizer settings?
My compressor is currently set to PUNCHY, and my EQ is using settings very close to EQ GOLD.
Any help will be much appreciated.
