Here is my 2 cents:
Over the years my cleaning methods have varied. I've used dry cloths, damp cloths, and alcohol swipes.
My current favorite is to dampen a small micro cloth (the kind used for cleaning glasses), ring it out good, then wipe down the keys etc. My left hand perspires so much during performances that it results in an annoying residue. So I wipe down the keys at the end of each performance day.
Sometimes I splatter the display with saliva. I rub it with a dry cloth after first wiping it with the damp micro cloth.
My repair technician has always been impressed with how clean my various keyboards have been when brought in for repair, and emphasized that he often has to put up with gross conditions. One day he showed me a keyboard that another customer had brought in...I could have vomited upon seeing it.
