I simply right clicked Christian's (Mosquitos62110) comment, Bachus, selected "Translate to English" and it was translated as follows:
good evening,
thank you for this proposal for a test file in CPF!
I send you my email address in MP, write me and I will send you my instrument info file in return, you can then send me a download link for the protected test file in CPF format.
Thank you very much, it's very nice!
Christian de France.

Thanks for the translation, offcourse i have done this myself (altough its not as simple as left clicking on an ipad).
But since this is an English forum, wouldn’t you agree that it would have been nice if mister Christian from France would have done so? Before posting?
I asume you orriginate from the US and might have problems understanding my reaction, but this is a thing in Europe, where mostly the bigger countries expect people, from other countries to just speak and understand their language, and they don’t put effort in trying to learn other people’s language and culture..
I live in Holland, why is it that they expect every dutchman to either understand German, English or French, and don’t even try to adapt to our language?
And why post here in French, and expect Peter Schips to just understand it, or put out the effort to translate it?
Maybe it shouldn’t have been discussed here, but i think its just courtesy to try and speak the language of the country you are in, or in this case the board you are posting on?
You asked me why i didn’t put in the effort of translating, well, i tried to esplain why i questioned the fact that Christian didn’t translate his question? Its just a matter of courtesy. Its on the same level as standing up in a bus for older people and offer them your seat. Its not a big thing, but its a thing to me and many others.
When i visit a country, i allways try to know a few basic centences, just to reach out to the people...
