Gerard, don't you find it hard to play when there is very little contrast between the white and black notes? To me, it resembles the websites with black backgrounds and white letters - very hard to look at for prolonged periods. Just my two cents worth. Other than functionality, it looks really neat!
I assume the keys covers are separate? If so, take them off. I like the glossy surface above them, although it may be an issue under theatrical lighting, due to glare.
Off topic slightly but related - Genos II DEFINITELY needs to go back to the tilt screen. I played a big show last night and the red spot light over the stage was reflected by the Genos fixed screen. At half time, I asked the lighting tech to change the light. Not good Yamaha! Not all of us are playing in controlled rooms like our living rooms. You built a pro level board and yet forgot that some of us are pro players who work under
all sorts of lighting conditions. Do you want the pro market are not??? But I digress...sorry Gerard
