Hi everyone
« on: November 27, 2017, 02:01:55 PM »
HI, didn't play keyboard last 7/8 years. In that period I was playing the guitar. Now I'm retired I've decided to return to keyboardplaying again. My last keyboard was a Technics KN7000. I have bought a used Tyros 5 ( for less €€, thanks to the appearance of the Genos  ;) ); loving the sound, quality and it certainly will cover my needs. I'm playing keyboards for my own pleasure and only at home. Have discovered this forum, which gives a lot of information as I have to discover plenty things getting to know the Yamaha. But that will give me pleasure, as well as the playing of course. Thanks for reading, regards Ton37  8)

Hello Tom, and welcome to the best resource on the net for info on your T5.  As you might have noticed others here have suggested visiting the home page and possibly becoming a supporting member.  A lot of the users here are very dedicated to the site and the helping of others to gain the most from their keyboards.  You just never know who is going to provide the gem of knowledge that has eluded you and that makes you that much more proficient on your kb.

Thanks @Ekurberski and @Toril for your welcome. Much appreciated. It's a challenge get to know this Tyros 5, but it inspires. Also my playing skills seems to have disappeared  >:(, so it will be a long, but pleasant, journey. I discovered this forum when I googled for the Yamaha 'tips and tricks' and it seems to be a right place were is a tremendous bulk of information regarding the Tyros etc. Looking to the questions/answers there is a huge amount of knowledge here and great people that whished to help. So the journey starts now, lets (try to) make music  ;)

Hi, as it was written in the welcome-post above, I made a donation-order to support  the forum and as a  symbolic 'thank-you' to all  the contributors for the work they volontary did. As I'm new to the Tyros, I'm now a consumer more than a contributor (yet), but who knows if I can help someone in future?  Regards Ton. 8)
