Saving Registrations to the Genos
« on: November 08, 2017, 07:36:55 AM »
Hopefully someone can answer this question:
I have my Tyros 5 registrations on a memstick and stored in the under the keyboard location. They are in folders and identified as follows:  Folder-Latin+ all latin songs Folder-Foxtrots- all Foxtrot songs, ETC.
I want to add new songs that I make registrations for and place them in the proper folders. How do
I go about that? Thanks in advance for your answers.  Lloyd

Lloyd,
One of the manuals give a step by step "how t" for what you want to do.
I have not gotten into the playlist or the registrations yet myself.

I have no use for the playlist as I use a different method of storing my registrations. For one who gigs I guess
the playlist can be useful.  Lloyd

Lloyd,

You do them exactly the same way you did on your T5. What problems are you having?

Fred,
It's just that it is different working with the touchscreen than with the old button pushing method. I know I
will follow this through and get my new registrations in the Genos. Thanks Fred, at 88 yrs. old it's now as
easy now. I do love the Genos and it surely is a step ahead of previous models.   Lloyd
PS: All my Tyros5 registrations went in the Genos very easily.

Lloyd,

glad to hear, that it works well for you. And we all will get used to the touch screen, which I also found unusual at first.

Voodoo,
Yes, the touchscreen is different from the button pushing Tyros 5 and it takes some time to get used to. I am now programming new stuff in the Genos and getting used to some changes. Lloyd
