Question to Genos owners: "Assign Part Settings" button
« on: October 19, 2017, 04:46:12 AM »
I decided to start a new thread, because the thread of Monsey has been captured for other topics....

Here the question:

In the mixer screen, at the page "Effect", let's say for "Style 1", I have seen a button labeled with "Assign Part Setting". What happens when this button is pressed? I assume some sort of assignment of DSPs to parts, but we do not know. can anybody make a screen shot of the screen behind this button?

Thanks for asking, Uli.

Broadening the scope of the question, I'd like to know how much flexibility we have in the (re)assignment of DSP effects.

I do not play over sequenced MIDI tracks. I freeze my backing tracks to audio and then play over audio. If 16 DSP units are assigned to each of the song parts, I would love to reassign those DSP units to other purposes.

Y'all take care -- pj

Chony reports, that stacking insert DSPs for panel voices should be possible.

But can anybody make a screenshot of the screen behind the "Assign Part Settings" functions to illustrate this?
