Midi2Style
« on: November 02, 2016, 04:19:22 AM »
Hey everyone, Im rather new to the scene and was looking for some help. I'v read through various forums but im still unclear what im doing wrong.
Im using Jørgen Sørensen Midi2Style software to convert a Pokemon Theme Midi to a style for my daughter but it just sounds terrible lol. I can get the bass and drums sounding fine but as soon as I add a kinda piano riff to the style all hell breaks loose and destroys the style. Iv included the midi file im working with plus the style i made and an *.m2s conversion data file so you can see what i'v been doing.
Im hoping someone can point me in the right direction on how to fix this.

Yours David Holt

Hi

I guess the problem is that the piano voice plays the "melody".

When using styles, YOU have to play the melody using your right hand while the style creates the music for your left hand = "accompaniment".

Please mail further questions directly to me. My mail address is in the programs "More Settings" window - "About" button - and at all my web pages...
