Taking apart the 9000
« on: July 03, 2016, 09:01:31 AM »
I took out ALL the screws on the bottom and still the top, while free around the edges, still won't budge!

What's up with this thing, besides my blood pressure?

I have been mystified before when taking things  apart but not like one. My 8000 is a cakewalk compared this beast. I have done everything but break it! I see no more screws to remove!

Thank you jes826 . .!! You made my day!

I paid the bill and downloaded it in 2 min. and in another 2 had it open!

I had been attempting to lift off the top where all the 50lbs of weigh are, instead of flipping it over to lift off the 5oz bottom plate. Duh!! However and in my defense, My 8000 is a 50-50 deal. half the workings in the top and the other 50 in the lower plate. I am looking to replace the key contact strips and will let you all know how goes.

Thanks again. Rom
