Floppy Disk Emulator
« on: November 24, 2014, 11:51:34 AM »
I recently (yesterday) purchased a PSR-2000 in mint condition. Moved up from the PSR-290. Now I get to have fun with lots more styles and voices. As the 2000 is relatively old technology, there is a floppy disk on it that is a somewhat obsolete format. I see on eBay however that there are floppy disk USB emulators that retail for a fair price. Has anyone tried one of these? If so, did it work for you? I'd be anxious to hear of your experience with one.

Thank you;

Mike

BTW - This is my first post.

MikeC,

Welcome to the Forum...  Yes. the USB emulators work on the arranger keyboards.

Here's a recent thread on the topic:   http://www.psrtutorial.com/forum/index.php?topic=27664.msg203371#msg203371

If you do a search you will find others as well.

Mike send me a pm with your emailaddress. I have been using an emulator in a PSR2000 since 2009. It does work if you get the correct emulator.
I will send you the info about it I have been sending to hundreds of people all over the world.
