Incorrect recording volume
« on: October 24, 2012, 08:22:47 PM »
Hi,

I own a PSR-2000. For the past few months I've been facing a problem with the volume control.
Everytime I record a song or create a style/multipad, the volume of the recording is reduced during playback.

Eg: Say I record a song with the volume of all channels(style/voice/multipad) between 90 to 100. After recording during playback, I notice that the volumes are reduced to 75 to 80.

I tried performing factory reset, but the issue is not solved.
Someone please help me in resolving this issue  :(

This sounds to me like the instrument is defaulting to the levels of factory styles and voices.

To assure that the style parts and voices are at the desired level, I depress the Mixing Console to get to the panel or style pages and set the levels there before recording. You can save the setting in a registration if desired.

Regards,

Michael
