PAT Function

What am I missing here I did all this..... (When you turn the PAT feature on, then, as a midi file is playing, you can press any keys at all on the keyboard and the Yamaha arranger will adjust the notes so that they go along with whatever song is playing. You can pick any voice and hit any notes, it will all sound great!)  It didn't change anything what have I missed here??

Help Please

The P.A.T function only works if the midi has Yamaha Chord Events.

These events are available in :

1) A Quick Recorded midi

2) Many midis sold by Yamaha

3) Midis that have them added by PSRUTI (which analyzes the music. See: http://psrtutorial.com/util/plate.html) or MixMaster (manual. See:http://psrtutorial.com/MB/mixMaster.html )

Is there a way to turn P.A.T. off and on in the events list?

Sue:

As far as I know, it is only enabled via the instrument controls.
