Panflute Voice....I wonder
« on: May 29, 2019, 08:46:04 AM »
My former keyboard the PSR-GX76 was a fascinating Keyboard I've ever had! The most instrument voice I did like was Panflute. And now......I was practicing another Romanian Song the other night and I tested the panflute on the YPG-235. Guys.......It gave me such a goosebump, excited, and overwhelmed!! The sound of that Panflute was the most Beautiful sound I've ever heard. I fell in love with the YPG-235 (I bet you fell in love with your keyboard eh? Come on guys we've all been there ;)) LOL

Now I'm looking into 2 keyboards to see what they have to offer.
PSR-S975 and Genos. Now I'm hoping some websites I may search more Panflute Voices including the Native American Flutes. I can't really play the real one so I'm stuck with the keyboard hehe. But I love it!!

If I may ask for a very small Favor. a Small Demonstration from your Keyboards. Any Yamaha keyboards. It doesn't matter. Could you send like an MP3 or wav file? If possible to do it here or from Youtube links from your channel. That way I can feel how the Pan Flute Plays. If it's okay with the Admins and the Mods. This is the only small favor I'm asking.

The two keyboards you mention both have the ability to use Sample voices and Yamaha Music soft have produced two really nice Pan Flutes plus the pan Flutes on Genos are very good and can be tweaked to a sound you prefer. There is also a nice Celtic pack that has good voices and styles in it.
Your best bet always is to try these keyboards and hear the sounds live.

I will try to post a demo of the sweet pan flute of PSR S970 which is same on PSR S975 and also a demo of some Super Articulation Pan Flutes that I download from the internet

Hi DCKeyboard, in this song you can appreciate the sound of the pan flute in some parts. This was done in my old S970. Greetings. Hans

My friend when you think of a panflute which composition comes to your mind?  :)

Don't forget that both keyboards have lot's of effects to make a sound as you wish and in most cases they don't have just one sample of each organ.
They have several samples to choose the one that you like and if you apply another, second voice at a low volume you can have many many options for making a nice sound.

They all sounded really good, the Genos, S975 top it off more. Even Tyros. Thank you all for Sharing, least I get some experience on how they all sound. Beautiful!

EileenL I'll take your word for it. Celtic Flutes sounded Beautiful and the bagpipes? Always wanted to play the bagpipes Celtic Song. I know how the melody goes but I can quite figure out the name of the song. I'm still gonna look around if I can find the American Natives flutes I can purchase or Download in the future. I tell you this website I've never experienced such great people who have great Knowledge about Yamaha Keyboard. Thank you all so much :)

Hi Daniel,

please take a look at the free sounds on the website of Peter Schips:

http://cms-sounddesign.de/page108.html

http://cms-sounddesign.de/page133.html

These Expansion Voices (.ppf format) are compatible e. g. with Tyros5, Genos and PSR-S970/975.

Best regards,
Chris
