9000 was very good in it's time. I had 9000PRO which has an excellent keybed.

If your spending is limited I would look at an early Tyros 2. I had this model for past 12 years, although  I sold it for a Tyros5-67 The T2 is excellent.

I had a 9000pro, in fact I had two as I kept one in reserve. This was in my opinion one of the best keyboards that Yamaha produced and I only changed about 3 years ago. I think that it weould still be a good buy at the right price. I alway hope that Yamaha would continuing updating it as a pro machine, but as usua theyl stopped any such support once they introduced the Tyros range.
