Greetings from Michigan, New CVP-309 Owner.
« on: May 12, 2019, 02:01:30 AM »
Hello,

I'm just too old and worn out to support and play my accordion anymore.  Plus having to move with barely any notice, we had to lose our piano and organ.  After many years of struggling to get back on our feet, we purchased a gently used Yamaha CVP-309.
I've had other Yamaha's in the past with either 2 wheels or rubber tracks, I am so impressed with this unit.  Trying to decide what type of mic for the grandkids to do the karaoke or the drunk adults too.  (not on the same nights)

Looking forward to the group suggestions to come along.

Welcome to the forum.  Where in Michigan are you from?  I was born & raised in Muskegon.  Left at age 18 and when in the states have lived south of he Mason & Dixon line every since.  Can't even stand the idea of the cold!

For the volume levels you would use at home for Karaoke, almost any decent mic will work. I would go for one of the lower cost Shure or Behringer mics. Both will be fine, and they are not expensive.
