Back to my Genos and a couple of thoughts
« on: April 20, 2019, 10:23:16 PM »
We usually spend our winters in a warmer climate than where home is.  This trip I left the Genos at home.  With that said for the last 4 months I’ve been using an s970 both for gigs and my own entertainment.  I also had been playing a weekly piano solo gig in the lobby of a cancer treatment center using their Yamaha DGX630.

We’ve been back home for 5 days  and now that I’m back playing the Genos, I’m impressed all over again.  What a fine instrument it is!  :) 8)

As an added bonus I’ve updated my Korg Pa4x’s OS and I have to say that too is a fine instrument.  If there is such a thing as arranger heaven, I’m in it.

I am still torn between the Genos and the MODX....

One day i am more impressed by the Genos
The other day i just love the MODX8

I am in a good place to.
Glad i don't have to choose.
But if i had to choose, i would choose an 88 key Genos.

Although I'm happy with the 76 key Genos, one with 88 would suit me fine too.

How could we?

But i will not set my expectations to high..
This will only lead to dissapointments..
But its a first step for sure..

Don't think we will ever see a keyboard with 88 keys. There are pianos for this. Just use the octave change button when you want lower or higher notes and you have it with a 76 note.

SORRY...was just trying to make a (bad) joke.  (Guess Canadian humor does not translate well :()
