Score out for printing
« on: March 27, 2019, 08:50:56 PM »
Hi Everyone,

I know I may be asking a very simple question.
How can I print a score sheet for a midi recording done in Genos?

To explain - I have create a midi multi track recording and would like to get some parts to real players (although Genos will probably sound better ...  ;) )
I know how to control which channel score is showing.
Is there a file I can export and print?

Thanks,

Not from the Genos, but you can easily print out a midi file on your PC.

Just take the file to your PC. There are lost of free programs like Musescore which will print it out for you.

Hi
If you do multi-track recording it is best to get Cubase.
You have all you need with a program like that which includes printing out your music score.
You can also add VST instruments , do Piano roll editing.
For the Genos you do not need a Sound card or usb sound box as the Yamaha driver would put you in touch with the program like Cubase as It reads System Exclusive. The basic Cubase program would suffice just for the Genos. Once happy with basics ,you can then upgrade if you wish.
The only thing involved is a bigger learn curve.

All the best
