OTS and DSP effects...
« on: March 22, 2019, 10:10:10 AM »
Hello everyone,

Registrations do not remember more than one DSP effect tweaks, but OTS can not remember more than one DSP effect in the chain. OTS saves only the last added DSP effect, others are simply turned off.
Registrations can remember tweaks if user presets are used, but OTS not even that.
Is there any solution to this?

Hi --

I'm away from manuals and such, but I vaguely remember that Jorgen's OTS editor has a way of inserting SysEx into an OTS slot. You might be able to add parameter changes that way although it means encoding the appropriate hex messages.

All the best -- pj

Thanks, but there is nothing about DSP effects.

Hi --

Honest to goodness, this is from memory. I won't be able to actually experiment until nextt week.

If you click the GO button for a voice, the OTS editor will display a page with all sorts of voice settibgs, including the preset to select.

There is also a field titled "System Exclusive Editor" where system exclusive messages can be entered. The DSP effect tweaks must be expressed as SysEx messages. So, you won't see anything there which refers explicitly to DSP parameters.

Hope this helps and sorry for any delay.
