Topic: Cross-fade loop points in one click?

Hi friends,
I've sampled a Steinway D grand piano, a few years ago. I just want to insert cross-fade loops on samples decays, but I have tons of samples! So...anyone know about a software that let me to create cross-fade loop for ONE sample, and then COPY that loop information (lenght, X-fade) for all other samples? Kontakt by Native Instruments does this operation perfectly but it can't export WAV samples with loop informations! Doing loops for every single sample is an infinite work, help me please!

Francesco, I do not know if SampleRobot from Skylife can do that ... just an idea.

I know, Francesco ... a friend of mine does a lot with it. He always says that he has saved light years of time.

Hi Francesco,

I use Polyphone to do those kinds of things.

It's free, it's powerful, and it allows batch operations (such as defining loop points in multiple notes). There is a learning curve – as in any good software – but I'd definitely recommend it!

It generates SF2 files that can be perfectly imported to Yamaha keyboards via YEM. Good luck!
