minor problem with sustain
« on: February 14, 2019, 06:17:41 PM »
Hi, just ran into this problem:
When playing a style on Genos with left voice turned on (sometimes I leave it off) I found that if I used the sustain pedal to sustain the right hand notes the left hand notes are cut off with no sustain at all. I was trying to use a guitar voice in the left voice and it needed to sustain along with the right voice. The only way it sounded o.k. was to not use the sustain pedal at all, which meant I couldn't get any sustain to my right voices. I realize sometimes you don't want sustain in the left voice, but this time I did.
Hope I made myself clear. I went to all the voice settings I could find to resolve this, but couldn't find anything.

Thanks

If you press direct access then move your sustain pedal you will get the setup screen. Towards the bottom there are boxes you can tick to select the voice parts the pedal acts on. By default the RH parts are ticked and left voice is unticked.
