Help needed to modify a style for PSR 750
« on: December 17, 2018, 03:01:28 AM »
I love  this Choir & Guitar style, but Variation C  has a missing voice on my PSR 750. I've tried to pop a voice in there, but  have been unsuccessful  Hoping one of our members would do it for me please.

What do you want to add or change?

You can do this yourself in the ‘Mixing console’
Then open Style Creator, page 2, Save,
New name, eg,  Choir & Guitar2
It will be Saved to USER.

The same voices are in all four parts. There is nothing in the CHD2, PHR1 and PHR2 voice slots.

Are you missing one of the OTS voices?

This style came from the "Church & Christmas" Expansion pack which is posted here:

http://www.psrtutorial.com/styles/coll/drake/psr-S950%20Church%20&%20Christmas%20Styles.zip

I converted all the styles in the pack to work on a PSR-S950 without needing to install the pack. All the voices used are on the basic S950 keyboard.

Here is my page of several converted style packs for you as well.

Thank you Pino. I was able to replace the missing voice with  a Grand Piano Voice from the buiit in  selection Yamaha provided when I  purchased  my PSR 750 and  it is now sitting in "User" I am hoping that I will be able to then move it from User to my USB Stick  I'm assuming that that is possible. I'm now wondering if I should put it in Styles  or maybe it has to go in registrations. Hoping that you can figure out what  I've just written.

Thank you Pino. Works perfectly.I've been wanting to be able to modify styles for ages. I've read and read the handbook, on this subject, but it didn't make sense until to-day, when i read your directions. You have made my day. A great Christmas Present for me.
