Hi,

I was wondering who should I go about recording the chord progressions ( accompaniment) in cubase? The way I do it is that I just create a midi channel in Cubase and set the channel to "any", then I start recording the chord progression with the style. Now I have two issues

1) I always make mistakes playing chords ( time/chord notes) and it is very hard to punch in the chords at the right position. How can I have PSR to be the master and Cubase as slave, if possible?
2) How can I have cubase to follow my PSR tempo? I guess I need to play with Clock/mentronom syncrhonizations in both PSR and Cubase!

I assume if I want to add melodies, I need to use channels 1-8, so It does not overlap with the accompaniment? Correct?

I really appreciate if anyone can help me with this.

Best regards,
