Aux-in
« on: December 05, 2018, 02:22:08 AM »
Hi,

When I plug some thing in to the "AUX IN" port it works fine however it does not record on the audio recorder.
Does anyone know if there is a setting to include the aux-in in my recordings?

Cheers Jim.

Jim,

The Tyros 4 (unlike the Tyros 3) only has a mono input for mic/guitar/audio that will record to the audio recorder.  I think that is strange.  But the Tyros 5 and S970 aux audio input both DO record to the USB audio recorder.  I think what you just discovered is a serious shortcoming of the T4.

Hi Jim,

yes, Joe is right here:

Unfortunately, on Tyros4 the AUX IN signal (Audio Stereo) can NOT be recorded on the internal Audio Recorder.

Best regards,
Chris

➪ Everyone kept saying "That won't work!" - Then someone came along who didn't know that and just did it.

If you can run a line to microphome in, you can record internally in the T4 because it will record a signal from the mic input as I have done it whereby I played and sung a song and recorded it
