There is an incredible ipad app for yamaha piano’s
Its called yamaha smart pianist

How about an ipad app for Genos..
It could do so many things for Genos owners..

-(deep)sound edditing and creation. Like an online version of Yem editing onboard sounds..
-integration with cubasis for midi and pattern edditing with the incredible piano roll editor.
-sheet music display, including pdf import.
-integration with yamaha’s mobile music sequencer
-play along with your itunes music or mp3’s and generate sheet music for accompanying on the fly


There is so many things a good app can do for an arranger..

I'm in favor. They could implement many of these things by intelligently extending Mobile Music Sequencer, including a Style Creator. I started using MMS, again, and with a little care and feeding...

I think they should combine the several ipadd apps they have on offer into a single ipad mini studio/performance station..

Smart pianist, incuding the arranger part
Chord tracker
Cubasis
MMS
Performance and sound editor
Sampler and sample editor
Page turner/sheet music reader
Soundmondo
Stagemix
A looper
Support for audiobus3 and AU units

And then expand that with soundpacks..
stylepacks
Loops
New synths/au units.. converting from steinberg total to ipad..

If they can do this, they will make both money on the software/content and sell more hardware
As using the app would require yamaha hardware.. not just Genos, but also other instruments like psr-s series, modx, montage..
