Hi Mendel,i've found these SF2 soundfonts; just load them in YEM and then make a PPI for your S970; adjust the sound in YEM or on the S970, all the best Patrick

Hi Mendel,

you can try the free Yamaha Voice & Style Expansion Packs "PERSIAN" (NOT "Persian 2") and "Iraqi" from that PSR-A3000 product page:

https://asia-latinamerica-mea.yamaha.com/en/products/musical_instruments/keyboards/arranger_workstations/psr-a3000/vse.html#product-tabs

"PERSIAN" Pack contains five (5) different "Balaghma" voices, in "Iraqi" Pack is one (1) "Balaghma Stereo" voice.

You can also try the free PSR-S970 version of the Pack "PSR-A2000 Oriental" that can be downloaded here:

https://asia-latinamerica-mea.yamaha.com/en/products/musical_instruments/keyboards/arranger_workstations/psr-s970/vse.html#product-tabs

This Pack contains four (4) different "Balaghma" voices.

These Packs (.ppf format) can also be used with Genos/S970/S975. The only thing is that some of the voices are "locked" and can NOT be edited in YEM for this reason. On Tyros5, however, some of the voices will NOT work (but most of them).

Best regards,
Chris

➪ Everyone kept saying "That won't work!" - Then someone came along who didn't know that and just did it.
➪ Never put the manual too far away: There's more in it than you think! ;-)
