Hi D
You best post back with exactly what style/voices you have loaded, and what change in variations you are talking about.
Then, I'm sure someone will help you!

Also, this should be in a specific thread ..

Roger, or someone will probably move it for you.

Hi Dave,

If you press a style variation button any time other than during the first beat of a bar (i.e. while the beat counter still shows '1'), the variation won't change until the start of the next bar.  This is normal behaviour.

Could this be what you are experiencing?

Regards

Ian

Thanks for your reply Ian . Even if I make sure that I change the variation on the first beat of the  bar there is still a delay

There shouldn't be a delay in that case.

So when does the new variation start? At the start of the next bar, or somewhere else?
Are you triggering a fill when you change the variation?
Are you changing the OTS at the same time (= OTS Link on). If so, there's a setting for OTS Change behaviour that you may need to adjust.

Hope this helps,
Fred

Thank you all for your replies. Yes Fred the 0.t.s is on. As far as sending an audio recording I would not know where to start

Ok. Then you need to check your settings. See page 23 of the Reference Manual.

Check Function>Menu 1>Style Setting>OTS Link Timing.

When you get a chance to answer the other questions, let us know.

Thank you all again, I think that I've  solved the problem. I did a system set up factory reset and it seems to have cured the problem
Thanks again
