Making a Blank Registration button
« on: August 18, 2018, 06:32:28 PM »
Hi folks,

Could you please tell me if there is a way to make just one of the Registration buttons  in a Registration Bank empty?

I know how to create a Blank Registration Bank but not how to make just one of the buttons empty.

I feel sure I have done this befire but can't  remember how.

Thanks for any answer.

Hi

1. Call up Reg bank you wish to delete/blank button on
2. Click MENU ... and REGIST BANK EDIT
3. Select button on the popup menu you wish to blank out .. and press DELETE
4. Close

Sorted!

(If you delete all, you then SAVE this registration of blank buttons as 'BLANK'  so you can open a fresh set to use any time!) But you already know this.

 Hi Albags,

Thank you for your very quick reply to my query.

Exactly what I  needed to know.

I felt sure there was a way to do this but couldn't  remember how.

Just followed your instructions and it worked like a charm.

Kind regards

Hi AlBags,

I can tell you how I get to the Legacy folder but there is probably an easier way to get there. No doubt someone more knowledgeable than I will come along with a better or more convenient way.
Here goes.

Go to Home Page
Tap on one of the voice parts such as R1, R2, R3
Make sure Preset is selected at top of screen I.e. tap on Preset
Tap on up arrow at bottom right hand corner of screen
Tap on P2 (Page 2)
You should then see the Legacy folder on right hand side of screen - Tap on Legacy
This should give you 2 pages of Legacy voices categories.
Tap on the Section you want.

Hope that helps.

But there must be an easier way. Someone please?

Kind regards

The method quoted looks unfairly  drawn out compared with, eg.
1.Tap on any preset voice category, or if already in a preset voice category, go straight to 2.
2.Tap Up arrow (bottom right of screen),
3.Go to Page2 and the legacy folder is there so tap on it.

Step 1 and any steps beyond 3 are common whether you are using a preset or legacy voice.
If you already have a Legacy voice loaded you can always go straight back to Legacy (without having to go through the above) if you push the corresponding Part Select button. You're taken back to the folder in Legacy where that voice is stored so can explore all categories straightaway.
