I am looking for the sound of the Eminent organ.

Hello, Denis.
Your question reminds me an older post on this forum, but I can't find the specific thread right now.
BTW, the attachment file contains 2 soundfonts string voices and 7 effects (phaser, vibra, normal) from the legendary Eminent 310U.
Unzip the file and add the 2 sf2 voices in Yamaha Expansion Manager.
Have fun!
 ;)

Hello

Tyros 4 is not compatible with Yamaha expansion manager.
I have YEM installed but Tyros 4 is not recognized.
Also soundfonts are not recognized by Tyros 4 so I can not install Eminent.
Can soundfonts files be translated to wav files.

Hi Deniz,

yes, Tyros4 is NOT compatible to YEM technology.

You could try to convert the .sf2 files to .uvn files (= Tyros3/4 Custom Normal Voice files) by using the software program "Awave Studio":

http://www.fmjsoft.com/awavestudio.html#main

This should be able also by using the free DEMO version, but you will have to restart the program after each single conversion.

To install the .uvn voices on Tyros4, use INDIVIDUAL LOAD function.

Best regards,
Chris

I have translated the files with Audacity. I do have a bit more work because there were some tiks and cracks in the wave files.
But it will certainly work. Thanks for the replay.

Denis, you have my apologies for this trouble.
I don't own a Tyros 3/4 and I don't have a clue witch format is readable for this instrument.
The only that I can do is to convert my sf2 soundfonts in UVN format with the Awave Studio and upload the file for you.
Unfortunately, -as I say before- I don't own a Tyros 3/4 to test those files.
You can test the voices for me and send me a feedback for respond?
Just unpack the attachments and test the UNV files on your instrument.

Thanks!

Due the restrictions of the forum, here the other files that you can download for testing.

Hi WolfBack,

you could also import those UVN files into YEM (to check, if they have the proper format) :

First, create a new, empty Pack in YEM. Then choose "Import Content" to import UVN files to this Pack (OR use "Drag & Drop" for this).

Best Regards,
Chris

I create a empty Pack in YEM and and the UVN files into, but the YEM is a strange program, thought.
The YEM add the files and recognize those as instruments files with a yellow clavier (?) icon at the start of every file name, but I cannot edit or listen any of this voices (in YEM environment)
I'm wonder if I must create a Install Pack for this and installed on my S770 to hear the voices, but I don't have the time right now to test this...
There's anybody out there to test my files directly on their Tyros?
