Hi Bob,
Midi songs/files should play to your pc with Windows Media Player if you are using windows.
But if you have a problem you could use thes 2 programs which can play the midis that were made on a Yamaha keyboard better than any other software.
http://www.jososoft.dk/yamaha/software/mandsplay/index.htmhttp://psrtutorial.com/MB/midiplayer.htmlIf you want to convert the midi song to any other format like mp3 first you have to use the onboard Audio Player on your psr, first convert the .mid to .wav and then it will play to your pc exactly as it sounds on your keyboard.
After you can convert the .wav file to .mp3 file if you wish on your pc.
1.Press the "Song" button then the "Select" button and select your midi song.
2.Press Usb Audio player and choose "Rec" on your screen.
3.Choose "Play" on your screen and immediately press the "Play" button to hear you midi song.
4.When the midi song is finished immediately choose the "stop" button on your screen.
5.Now you have an "Audio_001.wav" file on your usb stick.
If you get an error message "Devise is busy" try again.
Haven't found a video in English about this function.I hope this one helps.
