Genos and my DXR 10
« on: June 18, 2018, 11:05:10 AM »
Today I was reminded again that it takes a while to get the sound I want with my PA.

The EQ/Compression system on my Genos works well with my PA’s but I do have to tune in both EQ and Compression on Genos to get the best sound out of my PA’s....in this case today I worked with my Yamaha DXR10.

I’ve got four different systems which is too much and I think I’ll try to get down to using two: my Bose S1’s and my JBL Eon One.

Since each of the PA’s I use require different EQ/Compression Control from my Genos, it takes a lot of time to get them tuned.

I have four different systems as I was experimenting with each to get the sound I wanted.

Thing is, for me, the Genos EQ/Compression system is good enough to get the sound I need, regardless of PA used.  Essentially the Genos sounds good with all the PA’s I use.

So time to simplify I think.

😊

For me, the goal is to keep growing/learning.

Would you share your EQ Settings for Genos and dxr10?
Cheers, Joe
