Saving only Mic setting in the registrations
« on: March 19, 2018, 05:12:32 PM »
Hi,

I was trying to save only the MIC settings in my registration. I have my MIC settings in following locations

1) Mic settings in the main screen - No problem here
2) Mixer Settings - Panel 2 for Mic in
a) Chorus/ Reverb
b) Effect.

Here whatever I save in Registration (by checking only Microphone settings) is not saved. I guess this is not linked to Registration saving button of Mic.

Which button should I additionally check while saving registrations so that these settings are also captured.

Regards

Anand

Hi Anand

It has been a long time since I originally set up my default mic settings. Have you tried to set up all your settings and then SAVE that to your USB stick with a New Name? Then used a Registration to connect to that Saved Mic set up.

I have several special settings on my USB stick that all of my Mic Registrations are tied to. I am thinking that is how mine are all set up.

Anand,

A couple of things to check out:

Do you use the freeze button? if yes then is the Mic ticked?

or perhaps you have the VH/Mic ticked in Utility/Parameter Lock

I am afraid did not not get the answer I was looking for. This time I will post it with pictures to explain my query.

The first and second pictures
1) Chorus Reverb settings in Panel 2
2) Effects in Panel 2 (individual DSPs assigned to Mic in no 20)
3) Microphone settings

These are the three settings which I want to save in my registration. Please note that all three are related to the Microphone

So I check the box of Microphone in the Registration saving in picture 4

But I am only able to save the Microphone settings with this check box. Not able to save the first two microphone effects. How do I save it.  Please note that I want to make a registration in which I save setting only related to mic

To clarify, Any box in the Freeze button is also not checked

Please help

Regards

Anand

Check the Utility screen - Parameter Lock... I don't have keyboard near right now, but settings from Memory screen depends also by global Parameter Lock ticks/unticks.

Hi Anand

I recently was setting up registrations to remember mike/effect settings for guitar thro Genos, which did not work at first (no effects) and yet worked after I ticked the song box. I have not got my head around why yet, but worth a try??

Cheers
