Yamaha Tyros4 in 2018
« on: March 08, 2018, 10:40:34 PM »
Hello, I have the PSR S970 and I found a Tyros4 for 650 dollars only. I really like the human voices on this keyboard but most of the sounds of the Tyros4 I already have on the S970. I Can’t decide because Tyros4 has premium packs with fantastic saxophone sounds also it has some S.Art2 voices that the s970 doesn't has. What do you think?

If I understand you have a choice between PSR S970 and Tyros 4 ?

Tyros 4 has better keybed and I think it enough to choose T4 over PSR S970
It sounds better too

It is just my opinion as PSR  S970 and other advantages
It depends of you needs

Well, Now I have the PSR S970 and Korg Pa600. So I have to choice between my Korg pa600 and Tyros4, because to buy the Tyros I will need to sell my pa600.

I think I would keep pa600 and buy a tyros ...
If you want to keep your PSR S970 I am not sure it is a good idea to sell your PA600 for Tyros
There are different keyboards with different sounds and functionalities
Tyros and PSR may have too much overlap to my mind

However Tyros keybed is better than PSR ans Pa600

A Tyros 4 for $650? Sounds to good to be true.

I will say, go ahead and jump for it before is too late and is gone.

I sold my Tyros 4 three months ago for $2200 and there are few listed on Ebay between $2000 to $2500.

If you already have a PSR S970 and  Korg Pa600, I don't think you're missing much that Tyros4 would give you.

... I found a Tyros4 for 650 dollars only...

So what is wrong with it?  or is it a stolen keyboard.  BEWARE!

I would buy the Tyros for 650$ and I would sell it for 1650$.
I wouldn't mind if it has better keybed than my keyboard  ;D
When I read your post Rodrigo I thought that you have to give your s970 plus 650$ to get the Tyros 4.
Or you have to sell both your s970 and PA600 to get the Tyros 4,is that right?

is this price in the USA ? A Tyros 4 for $650 is unheard of.

is it in good working condition. ?

If it is in good working condition, just buy it and worry what to do later . . . .  you can re-sell it for 3 times that price.

However, it really seems too good to be true . . .  .I would buy it only if i know the person selling it or if the person is reputable . . . .

thanks
