Genos midi song leslie slow and fast problem
« on: March 06, 2018, 04:56:14 PM »
Hello
I have Genos song problem with organ voice slow and fast leslie
I do music with Sonar sequencer program and I use organ voice, slow and fast leslie midi channel Ch1, so problem is this.

When Sonar midi track Ch1 sends to genos payer parameters, where midi settings Receive Part1 Ch1, is Right1, so all works.

Wheb I set Genos midi setting Receive Part1 Ch1 to Song, then Rotary sp fast and slow not work.

I can not do Sonar with organ music and save Genos midi song because song mode can not change midi tack Right1
Here is link to the video about the problem

Thank you if you can help me

It seems, that you can use slow/ fast leslie only with a SArt organ voice, where the modulation wheel does switch between slow and fast.

I have done this Rotary sp/Assingnable switch and leslie is a Dual Rotary Speaker1
Sound is not art voice. The same problem is the organ flute in the sounds

Hi,

If you're using either REAL ROTARY or 2WAY ROTARY SPEAKER DSP effects, the first effect parameter controls the rotary speed. (Genos Data List, page 64)

You may need to craft a Yamaha XG SysEx message to set the rotary speed for the Song Part.

Hope this helps, pj
