S.Art. concert piano and PSR-S770
« on: February 20, 2018, 09:08:52 AM »
Is it possible to load the S.Art concert piano voice of psr-s970 to the psr-s770?
Does yamaha offer this voice in any of the expansion packs?
Is there any other way to find this voice?

I recently saw a post at an old topic that a guy was mentioned this :

Although S770 and A3000 does not have "piano voice SA", it works if you have saved them from a friend in a "VCE s970"!

Is what this post says possible? Has anyone tried this and if so, can you share this file?

No, its not possible.

The voice file will seem to work because it will play back the underlying grand piano sample, which is likely to be the same one. But you won't get the SArt! elements because they're not present on the S770.

Later Tyros's had both types of those pianos, non-SA and SA ConcertGrands. I could never hear a significant difference between them.
If you want to hear string resonance when using the sustain pedal try using the LiveGrand if you have it on the PSR.
