Which case for Genos?
« on: February 19, 2018, 10:04:29 AM »
Got it narrowed down to these two.

http://gatorcases.com/products/keyboard/tsa-ata-keyboard-cases/tsa-keyboard/deep-76-note-keyboard-case-w-wheels-gtsa-key76d/

I’m thinking lighter case as I don’t gig that much anymore.  Hardshell case is better protection but 20lbs more to carry with Genos in it.

Difference in price is not the issue.

Thoughts?

Good choices.
Number one at less than 10 pounds weight is almost ideal, except for me, i want it with wheels.

Number two has wheels but is very heavy at 29 pounds.

If there is a number one with wheels, i am all for it.

thanks

I use this one:
http://gatorcases.com/products/keyboard/lightweight-keyboard-cases/gk-keyboard/76-note-keyboard-case-gk-76/
(the 88 version, because the T5-76 will not fit in a 76version...)

It is quite a lot more sturdy than a gig bag, and not so heavy as a real hard case. And it has wheels, which to me are an essential feature.

Tx guys.

Robert,

The case you have, 5lbs lighter than a hardshell?

I wondered about this case...however..

Soft shell + Genos 54lbs..roughly

Hard shell + Genos 58lbs..roughly.

Only about 4lbs difference?
