Ok, the original question was I was attempting to make changes to voices in a midi file and could not get them to keep the changes once I saved and exited the song creator.  I later found the following thread that addressed the problem I was having.

I compose made a midi file using a style on genos for my friend that has a psr 9000 and he doesn't get it right, how can I fix it? should I change all voices also drums section to general midi? How?Thanks

If you friend has not got the same voices you used it will not sound good.
