Gary's Files....
« on: January 12, 2018, 05:14:33 AM »
I am so grateful to Gary for allowing us to download his collection of styles etc.

So, I have unzipped the folder on my computer and have all the files and folders showing.  Just a novice here with a 3000.

Now what?   Copy to a USB thumb drive and put it in the keyboard?

Sorry if this is a dumb question but just wanting to know the procedure.
    Thanks,  Iver.

Hi

You can use the styles directly form the USB thumb or you can transfer the style to the keyboard "User area" using the "Musicsoft Downloader" software from Yamaha.

... and make sure there are not to many styles in a folder or the keyboard won't read it.

Okay, thanks,
I'll load a few on the USB and give it a try.

Hi Gary,
Somehow I must have missed your posting with a set of styles to download.
Can you kindly direct me to where I might find these style files ?

Thanks,

Mark

Toril, I'm sure that you and others will have a lot of fun with my collection of styles and voices. You will absolutely love the SM, S-M and SM2 files, which are all song specific and have the correct intros and endings.

All the best,
