Good evening everyone,

I don't usually post on forums but I am in need of some guidance and hope someone will be able to assist.

My daughter currently plays on our Yamaha PSR8000 and it has just recently started to misbehave. I will attempt to describe what is happening, although please bear in mind it is my daughter who is musical!

The problem:

When you press any single key the note sounds, if i keep the  key depressed and  press another key/chord to the right (key/chord notes sound on pressing keys) then as i release the second key/chord the note of the first key I am still holding down sounds!

This doesn't happen the other way round so pressing a key and holding it down  and then pressing a second key/chord to the left makes no sound when the second key/chord is released.

Hope my description makes sense!

This has me baffled, any ideas anyone as to what could cause this problem.

Thanks

Make sure you have not got the Mono button on.
