Hello , I have a issue with a song I created which took a lot of effort to finish but t was worth it , but I realized that I need a 1 bar silence in the middle of song... My question, is there a way to add a one bar space in between the song?

Yes. You can use the break button with most styles. For those that have a fill/break combination, use the Snyc-start/stop function.

Good Luck,

Gary Iam glad your back hope your feeling better my friend. Ok seems to me that I don't understand what your trying to tell me. What I want is a complete Silence of1 bar, then the song continues..... if I do sync break in the middle of the song will I have a complete silence,  No drums, no nothing?

PS. This is recording for a song not live.

PS. This is recording for a song not live.

If you are playing a song, and want a bar of silence, the options are:
1. Hit the Stop button when you want silence to start; hit Start when you want the rhythm to start back up.
2. Hit the Sync Start button (when the style is running, this will stop it); play a chord in the left hand to start the rhythm
3. Turn the style volume down to 0 (using the slider) for the period of time you want silence

If you just want the accompaniment to stop (but the drums to continue), hitting Break will often do that (but will almost never give you a bar of silence).
If you use Fingered mode, pressing any 3 adjacent keys will stop the accompaniment (but not the rhythm).

If you already have the song recorded (ie, have a midi file), you can insert a bar of silence with almost any midi editing software.

Hope this helps,
Fred

It can (with the Song Creator), but you need somebody smarter than me to help you through it. Hopefully, Hopefully others will post a solution for you. It would help to know where you want the bar inserted (ie, the bar number).

In the PC midi editor MixMaster(http://psrtutorial.com/MB/mixMaster.html), you can do this easily:

Open the file, click ListView, select the Process Events/ Add Empty Measures and put in the starting and ending points (e.g. 20:01:0000 and 23:04:1919 for a 4 measure hole) then click Ok and Save the file.
