Title: Filename, wich format is the best?
Post by: Yamahaman on February 04, 2019, 11:39:49 AM
Hi,
Just started to scan my paper sheets into digital on my PC.
The name format I use is (for example): “Yesterday, Beatles”.
Will this be ok for SongBook+, or is there a better way?

Won’t be a problem for a SongBook. For your keyboard, make sure the name is no more than 50 characters long (including the .rgt and icon, so 41 char max for the name).

I use just the song name. You can easily set up Playlists for the artist.

Cheers,
Fred

Thx Fred.
I use a Epson 4990 with the Epson software.
This provide to merge several pages to one.

Songbook has separate fields for name of song and for artist.

I name my files with name of song and in songbook fill out the name of artist.

Like Fred explained, in songbook you can then sort by name of songs or artists or genre, etc or create playlists . . .

thanks
