Are the Playlist for genos and Bonus playlist the same list? I thought there wa a difference. I went to the yamaha genos download section, selected Bonus Playlist and when I downloaded it, it was titled Playlist for Genos. Is there a spsecific Bonus list? If so, how do I find it. thanks ,Bob

Sounds like a simple question to answer Bob. I am surprised you have not had a response. I tried downloading the Bonus Playlist and found the same thing- downloaded file was titled Playlist for Genos. I thought that the Playlist for Genos and Bonus Playlist were two different lists. Too bad one of the resident experts is unavailable to help. Reg

The other pack is called Discover Genos and is available on Genos downloads.

The Genos Playlist is all (almost all?) Genos styles, and the song Yamaha things goes with it best.

The best thing about the Playlists is that you can create your own. Do not simply rely on those that Yamaha have provided. Considerthem as a useful guide as to what YOU can do with them.

Fred and Bill
thanks a lot for your clarification.
I guess it sounds same or similar to the Tyros Music Finder . . . . .
thanks

Al,
In the link/topic below I attached a compiled list from almost every Music Finder list and most entries of the Genos playlist on top of some Music Finder lists from other people and a partial Music Finder +. As Bill said it's no bible for finding song titles and their style suggestions. You shoudl look at it as a starting point. A help if you really can't find a proper style. It sometimes helps me to get a general "direction" .
8400+ titles and their suggestions. The duplicates are removed except when a title has more suggestions or if it was mispelled. The combined list originally contained 22,00+ title so it was undoable to do an absolute check.

thanks a lot. I already downloaded your list from another post.
It is a great resource.
Using your list, it seems i really do not need to load the data into Genos.
thanks again.
