Hans1966 posted to help another user in the S970 section.
It is a sample of upright piano (Alicia Keys sound)
I loaded to Genos Expansion, and it is great! Just needed to nudge the mixer values a little bit.
If you try it, please credit Hans for it .. It is a zipped YEM install file.
Here's the forum link ... You need the 2nd link.

Can the Alicia K. piano but installed from a USB stick. I can't figure out how to do that if so. Advice?

Hello KeyboardByBiggs, first of all so you can use the piano sample of Alicia K, you have to convert it to ppi format. This is done using the Yamaha Expansion Manager. you upload your sample that is in ppf format to the Yamaha Expansion Manager, and being there you convert it to ppi (this process you do on your computer) after you have converted the sample ppf to ppi, save it in a USB mummy, and then to your keyboard. so you can better understand this process you can go to the following links for more information greetings Hans

With your assistance here I got it done the first time around, so thank you!
Unfortunately, the result isn't what I was hoping for. The samples need some work. The release on all of them is ridiculously short for starters. But. it might make a good rainy day project. :)

Hello KeyboardByBiggs, it is true that you have to work a bit on editing the samples to give it a rich and sonorous touch. The important thing here is that you have the tools to mold it to your liking. greetings Hans

What are you installing the sample to?
I find really good for Genos.

Yes, installing on on my Genos. If you play while holding down the sustain pedal you won't detect anything unusual. But without the sustain pedal, the release of the sample is super short and very unnatural.
