Title: S950 vs S970 EQ settings
Post by: sd isaac on September 01, 2017, 03:26:34 PM
Hi to all;
Greetings  :)

I have been using both S950 & S970. I've tweaked the S950 settings as per Gary's suggestion (image attached). Very bright, punchy and impressive sound!!  8)

However since I bought the S970, it couldn't match the settings of the S950 (image attached), although I tweaked it to Telmo's suggestion.

I get many comments.. that my S950 sounds more bright and punchy as compared to the S970.

For both PSRs, I use the same powered speakers to compare each other.(Behringer B615d)

Any EQ gurus out there..kindly help me to tweak my S970 EQ settings to sound like the S950. Any suggestion is highly appreciated.

Thanks in advance.

SD Isaac

Hello

is there any ressources about PSR S970 eq settings ?
I saw a few links on PSRTUTORIAL (Telmo ,...) but It still doesn't sound very clear to my hears . I think it can be improved .
In addition I am surprised to see so huge values for Q settings ...

Just use the Genos-settings for your 970:

For some voices like accordeon on my S770 the treble is indeed too high!

The problem is that the equalization is not just for the accordion, it will change everything.
