2 Genus one USB stick ?
« on: December 03, 2017, 09:58:35 PM »
Hello Friends

If you had 2 Genos.  Say one for home and one for gigs.   Would you be able to use the exact same USB stick . . . .?  just easily transfer the USB stick from the Home Genos to the Gig Genos and plug and play the gig Genos using the same USB stick . . . ? no additional updates . . . etc.

The answer is absolutely yes. Providing you make sure there is only ever one stick inserted in either instrument. It doesn't matter which socket, but only one stick so on both machines it will inherit USB1, Drive I, Alias E.

Hope that makes sense.
Just don't mention Genos USB drive letter assignments :)
