Genos - Assembly Style Function?
« on: November 30, 2017, 10:43:26 AM »
Hi all,
I am trying to copy a bass part from section C to section B within the same style.
It was straight forward in the T4 and S970.
However looked through the reference manual and tried everything, but nothing seems to work.
Any ideas?
Many thanks

It's very very simple
Open Style Creator after you select your style
Go to assembly tab, in the second grey column where it writes "Main B" press on it and a popup window opens. Select Main C.
Save Style.
That's it.

I made a short video for you

One more question:
Can you also copy PHR1 to Pad?
Thanks

The Assembly of Yamaha is very simple.

Only you have to know what you want, to select the correct part before copy channels between style parts or other styles's parts.
You have 3 grey columns:
First is name of style from which you want to copy.
The second in name of style part (Main A, Fill In, etc)
The third is name of channel (Rhythms, Bass, Chords, etc...)

You cannot assembly some channels between them, because of rules... Rhythms (RHY1 and RHY2) can only be copied between them and others (Bass,CHD1,CHD2,Pad,PHR1,PHR2) can be copy between them. You cannot copy Rhythm 1 to Chord 1, for example.

Have fun with it :D

Thank you soooo much.
I am having a blast.  ;D  Love the assembly feature as it opens up endless possibilities.
