Fanfare request
« on: October 19, 2017, 10:54:07 AM »
Hello friends!
Do any of you have MIDI files with good fanfares? Or audio? I am gigging with my new keyboard on Saturday for the first time, and there shall be a little show, and they called me now and wondered if I could play some good fanfares for them at the show. I admit this is not my strong point, so any help would be much appreciated.

Hello friends :) I just wanted to tell you how this fanfare business ended: I found some sites on the internet where you could download music, also many excellent fanfares. My initial plan was to install them on the keyboard, so that I just could press the right button when the fanfare was needed. You could listen to the fanfares on the site, but if you wanted to download, you had to create an account and pay. I didn't have time for all that extra work now, so I challenged myself to make a couple of fanfares myself, and it turned out that they liked them, so problem solved. This meant that I didn't "fake it" as planned, but played them on the keyboard the right way :) I also got many remarks on my new S970. They said it sounded well :)

I'm a little late on this post, but it would appear you have already achieved your goal, Toril.  :)

I have a lot of Fanfare midi files and if you have purchased some the website resource files, there are Fanfare midi files there also.  If you need anything more, please let me know, Toril.  :)
